United Methodist Men's Club
Our Men's Club meets at 6:30 p.m. the first Thursday evening of every month in the new fellowship hall.
Bring your appetite for a fabulous meal provided by Ryan's Classic Catering. A $10.00 donation is required.
After the meal, we have a short devotion, an inspirational and informative program by guest speakers, and a short business meeting. Our meetings usually last an hour.
One fund raiser was a community-wide event with guest speaker Darrell Waltrip.
The Men's Club holds Chicken Q fund raisers to help support local missions, our church upkeep, and our Youth Mission programs abroad.
Chicken Q's are held twice a year on a Saturday in the Fall and Spring . The chicken is outstandingly great and pleases the taste buds of the whole community.
The Men's Club also provides services to those in need. Below is a mission trip to build a wheelchair ramp at Freewill Liberty United Methodist Church in Williamson, Georgia. (Fall, 2003) click each photo for enlarged view
