October 1: Youth Ministry Department, 5:00 p.m. for Middle School and 7:00 p.m. for High School

October 1: AED/ CPR class, 5:15 -7:15 p.m. Lyon’s Classroom. Class could be longer depending on how many attend. Sign up by contacting the office. For more information see Jean Dodson.

October 1: Chancel Handbell Choir, 5:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. or 6:40 p.m. - 7:00 p. m.  (H. S. through Adult)

October 1: Youth Handbell Choir, 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. (5th grade-Middle School)

October 1: Wednesday Night Dinner, 6:00 p.m.  Adult: Beef stew; Children: Chicken Nuggets; Grilled Chicken by pre-order only.

October 1: Chancel Choir Rehearsal, 7:00 p.m.

October 4: FALL FESTIVAL, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Carter Waits wants to start planning for our next big Youth Mission Trip and to let people know about our yard sale. He needs some volunteers. If you are willing to help, let the office or Carter know.

October 6: Kidz Korner: Skate Night, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

October 6-10: Butts County Fall Break. No Dinner, Kids Corner, MYF, or Christian Believer class.

October 5: AED/ CPR class, 3:00 -5:00 p.m. Lyon’s Classroom. Class could be longer depending on how many attend. Sign up by contacting the office. For more information see Jean Dodson. Registration is needed.

October 12: SPR COMMITTEE MEETING, 6:30 p.m. Lyon’s Class

October 15: Unload the trailer day.  All youth should plan on helping at 4:00 p.m. with their parents or later during MYF time.

October 16: Organize the yard sale items and price.

October 18: YARD SALE. 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Donations welcome. Volunteers welcome. See Debbie Bell for more information or to volunteer. Youth: Plan to work part of the day between 6:30 a.m. – 3:00.

October 18: 7:00 p.m. Chancel Choir is participating in the Gospel Sing-off at Indians Springs Amphitheater 

October 19: Small Group Gathering, 2:00 p.m. at the Home of Evelyn and Rod Henderson. Sign up please, so we will know how many people to expect. Bring a snack to share. All are welcome.

October 22: Middle School MYF 5:00 – 6:00 pm.  Basketball 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

October 24: Football Dinner, 4:45 Volunteers needed. Need Greeters.

October 25: CHICKEN QUE. Need volunteers to cook and serve food. See Bob Kaylor for more details.

October 26: COMMITMENT SUNDAY, at both services with a potluck dinner following the Traditional service. Turn in your pledge card at this time or before if you know you will not be available.

October 29: Kidz Korner: Halloween Hay Ride and Trick-or-Treat in Fox Hollow
