Jackson United Methodist Church works diligently to share the Love of God from the heart of Jackson with the communities here in Butts County and around the world.
We are proud to join in supporting the CERF House as our primary local outreach to the community. This co-operative addresses needs of neighbors with housing, utilities, medicine, food and clothes. Also there are resource persons working with job counseling, pregnancy and literacy.
From our children to our youth and adults, we are committed to a hands-on mission ministry in the community, state, region and the globe. We have special relationships of mission ministry in the Gulf area, Honduras and Uganda.
We are grateful for those who serve and volunteer in these ministries to reach thousands of people on behalf of Jesus Christ. For without Christ at the heart of our mission, we would only be sharing food and clothes. Instead it is through meals, construction, power bills and groceries we bring the love of Christ throughout the world and to you.
Every group within the church is encouraged to have an active witness of mission work. In this way, every member is working to share a tangible witness of Jesus Christ together.
