   Our Beautiful Organ             

Jackson UMC is blessed with a wonderful pipe organ.  The original organ was built in 1949 by the Austin Organ Company.  It was enlarged and rebuilt in 2007-2008 by the    A. E. Schlueter Pipe Organ Company.  Today it contains 20 ranks (sets) of pipes. The organ is well-maintained and used regularly in the 11:00 Traditional Service.

In honor of George Weaver, our beloved organist for 36 years, a Zimbelstern was added in 2018.  The beautiful bells of the Zimbelstern adds a shimmer to the hymns.
